Hello everyone! I hope you are warm!

The girls basketball team will be playing the first round of the Sub-State Tournament Wednesday night (tomorrow) at West. Since the Gold Band missed on Dec 11, let's make this a GOLD BAND night. But because it is such short notice AND we want to do everything we can to support our team, let's have as many as possible come out to play and support our girls! Wouldn't it be great to have a 75 piece Rockin' Pep Band! WOW! IF they win we play again on Friday I think I heard. Mr. Hupe and I will both be gone go we would need some help getting things covered and put together. Stay tuned and do what you can to help out. Call time for tomorrow evening will be 6:30. We'll just grab instruments and head to the gym. BRAVO!

OE Jazz Festival in Pittsburg
March 7th is the date. The bus will pull out at approximately noon. More exact details will be coming soon. Parents going along, plan on having a great time!

Jazz Lab at MNU last weekend
The band played OUTSTANDING! Doug Tally was our clinician and was so impressed with our band. We were the only "second" band at the festival but they played with the "Big Dogs" and made us proud. I heard several people say that they couldn't believe that they were not the top band at West. That just goes to show that EVERYONE in the West Bands are winners. We have a lot to hold our heads high about. Way to go Jazz Lab - you are AWESOME! Thank you parents who came to watch and help. As always, you are an important part of our success not to mention it is always good to have our own cheering section.
