• Superior Rating - K-State Marching Fest
• 11 students selected for District Honor Band: Iris Shelly, Allison Hall, Leah Bernstein, Chris Mehrer, Katie Miller, Matt Woods, Connor Bowman, Matt Ingram, Christian Owen, Brian Scarborough, Charles Hower
• 1 student selected for District Honor Jazz Band: Brian Scarborough
• 3 students participating in the KC Youth Jazz Program: Beth Stewart, Brie Lindsay, Sean Cunningham
• 4 students participating the All-State Ensembles: Iris Shelly, Brian Scarborough, Leah Bernstein, Matt Ingram
• SM West Pride Marching Band and Dance Team selected for their 6th performance in the London New Years Day Parade, (London, England). The West Pride has performed more than any other group in the world at this event.
• OE selected to play for the grand opening of Perkins 87th and I 35.
